Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Junior Quality Control Coordinator will be based on-site, on a project in the Greater Toronto area.This is a fixed-term position until 2028 with the possibility of becoming permanent.What You Will Be Working On
Preparation of quality and completion reports, monitoring and maintaining documentation for the quality management team.
Ensure that all quality and completion records associated with the management system are kept organized and filed in the construction quality record system.
Ensure progression compilation on completed works is recorded in reporting system
Ensure that all non-comforting product, activity or procedure is recorded in the non-conformance reporting system
Track status of all inspections and tests to ensure that all non-comforting product, activity or procedure is recorded in the non-conformance reporting system
Follow up with project team on overdue observations and actions
Perform and assist with a variety of administrative duties as required
Degree/Diploma in a construction related discipline (Mechanical or electrical preferred) or,
A CofQ in electrical or the mechanical Trades (plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC)
A minimum of 5 years construction related experience with 1-2 years in a QA/QC Role.
Experience with mechanical and electrical projects is preferred.
General construction knowledge including blueprint reading.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
Experience with Revisto is considered and asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong Organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
