Maintenance Mechanic

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication and component adjustments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Operate grinders and drill presses, service and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Utilize MIG/Arc welding skills as needed (preferred).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate any maintenance concerns and updates to management and team members.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  

• 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic is preferred.
• Well versed in troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Experience working with software programs such as Megamation or CMMS.
• Experience with MIG/Arc welding is an asset.
  

• Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection provided).
• Ability to lift, carry, and move pallets and materials weighing up to 85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to stand for long periods while completing repair tasks and transporting pallets.
• Requires strong visual attention to identify pallet defects and perform precise repair work.
• Must have steel toed footwear in good repair.
