Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the provision of clerical support services to Agency staff and to assist other admin support staff as required. This may include, but is not limited to, filing of electronic documents, completing correspondence and reports, maintaining and monitoring database systems, taking meeting minutes, reception duties.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Fluent in Microsoft applications and other relevant office computer programs.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Knowledge of database systems and data management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and on a multi-disciplinary team.
- Post secondary education in office administration or related field is preferred.
- 2-3 years' experience in an administrative role.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory police records check, internal records check and drivers abstract required.
Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services is a non-profit community organization funded by the Government of Ontario, legally mandated to protect children and youth from abuse and neglect through the Child and Family Services Act.
