Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Los Angeles, California facility. This role is fundamental to maintaining accurate inventory levels, which directly impacts our logistics and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing inventory data, conducting audits, and implementing strategies to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory flow, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to maximize space and minimize damage.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and purchasing, to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse/logistics role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
