Become a cornerstone of our logistics chain as a Receiving Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are seeking a highly organized and diligent individual to manage the incoming flow of goods into our warehouse. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for meticulously inspecting incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, documenting discrepancies, and preparing received items for storage or distribution. A strong understanding of logistics processes and a commitment to workplace safety are essential. You will be expected to follow all company safety procedures and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and operating basic warehouse equipment. Attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills are vital for success. We pride ourselves on a professional and efficient working environment and offer opportunities for growth. Key responsibilities include: receiving and unloading inbound freight, verifying product counts and condition, identifying and reporting damages or shortages, accurately entering receiving data into the inventory system, staging received goods for put-away, and maintaining a clean and safe receiving area.
