We are actively seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is fundamental to our **logistics** operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods within our distribution center. Responsibilities will span various aspects of warehouse work, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Accurately put away received goods into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment according to pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Pack orders efficiently and safely, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks and trailers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain **safety**.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures, including mandatory **PPE** usage.
- Follow proper **lifting** techniques to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment within the **logistics** department.
- Participate in **safety** meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse **logistics** and operations.
- Knowledge of and adherence to **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
