The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with troubleshooting, and a commitment to preventative maintenance. You will work on various types of warehouse machinery, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems, playing a critical role in the smooth functioning of our logistics network. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Safety is a core value, and you must strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, when performing duties. While direct heavy lifting might not be the primary focus, the ability to assist with tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, machinery).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and the work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety standards and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to identify equipment needs and improvements.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, supporting the logistics team.
- This role may require lifting and physical tasks related to equipment servicing.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of our logistics operations.
