Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is highly desirable. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate processing of goods. Safety is our top priority, so adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE, is crucial. This role involves significant physical exertion, including frequent heavy lifting of items up to 60 lbs, pushing, and pulling. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic manner.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- This role requires substantial lifting and physical activity throughout the shift.
- Support the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
