We are seeking an efficient and reliable Order Picker to join our vibrant warehouse team in Atlanta, Georgia. The Order Picker is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting the correct items from warehouse shelves. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive their products quickly and accurately. The ideal candidate will be agile, possess excellent attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order slips or RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Repackage items as needed for safe transport.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as required.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving items, often repetitive motion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Awareness of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is a plus.
