Seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our logistics facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating and retrieving specified items, and preparing them for shipment. This position demands precision, speed, and a strong commitment to Safety. Your daily activities will involve using scanning technology to identify products and ensuring all picked items are handled with care. The use of appropriate PPE is required throughout your shift.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists and RF scanner commands.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Package picked items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders in the designated shipping areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring clear pathways.
- Conduct cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies.
- Perform manual Lifting and use of pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes, gloves, and vests.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets and contribute to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Must be able to perform frequent Lifting and stand for prolonged periods. Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on Safety are essential. Ability to operate an RF scanner accurately. Good teamwork and communication skills. Understanding of basic logistics operations is helpful. Must be willing to consistently wear and use required PPE. This is a physically demanding role requiring reliability and punctuality.
