Join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Material Handler! We are seeking a strong, reliable individual to manage the movement and organization of materials within our facility. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, supporting both production and distribution processes. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding our stringent safety standards, including the mandatory use of PPE . Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse or production floor.
- Stage materials for production or shipment, ensuring accurate counts and labeling.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Proven ability to operate various types of material handling equipment safely.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics .
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all relevant safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE .
- Team player with good communication skills.
