As an Order Picker, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment process, ensuring that products are picked accurately and efficiently for our valued customers. This role demands a keen eye for detail, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of work. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, locating specified items, and preparing them for the next stage of the logistics chain. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify item accuracy, quantity, and condition before picking.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, involving continuous Walking, Bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety regulations.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
