Join our busy warehouse operations in Orlando, Florida, as a Warehouse Worker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics hub. In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is essential to ensuring that products reach their destinations accurately and efficiently. This position requires a good level of physical fitness, as tasks involve considerable standing, walking, and regular Lifting of materials. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; all associates must strictly follow established safety protocols and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. You will operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, to manage the movement of goods. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also a key part of the job. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying contents.
- Organize and store goods in assigned locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick items based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring protection during transit.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers.
- Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar physical labor role is beneficial.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring frequent physical exertion, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
