This role is central to our daily operations, involving comprehensive warehouse tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will contribute to the efficient flow of goods, ensuring inventory accuracy and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, performing inventory counts, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting duties, up to 60 lbs.
- Experience operating warehouse machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and the use of PPE.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles in a logistics context.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
