Corporate Information Security Officer / Team Lead Information Security (m/f/d)

As Corporate Information Security Officer / Team Lead Information Security (m/f/d), you take on a visible and trusted role at the heart of our organi­zation. You act as the key contact for govern­ment agencies in all matters of infor­mation security and represent MB Energy in the event of a cyber­security incident. In this governance-focused position, you shape our security strategy, support resilience across the business, and help foster a strong security mindset in an inter­national and fast-paced environ­ment.

• Lead Information security strategy: you design, implement, and continuously improve a company-wide infor­mation security management system (ISMS) in line with current technical standards and legal requirements.
• Advise and collaborate: you act as a strategic advisor to senior management on all topics related to infor­mation security and IS emergency prepared­ness, working closely with leader­ship, employees, and external auditors.
• Monitor and ensure compliance: you plan, conduct, and accompany internal and external ISMS audits, track corrective actions, and ensure the docu­mentation and enforce­ment of security-related measures.
• Train and raise awareness: you develop and deliver awareness programs, trainings, and workshops on infor­mation security topics to foster a strong security culture across the organisation.
• Coordinate crisis response: you support the company's crisis management team in security-related matters, develop and maintain the IS emergency concept, and plan regular emergency drills in coordi­nation with leader­ship.
• Respond and document: you handle security incidents, pro­pose and track remediation measures, and ensure thorough docu­mentation of all cases and activities.

• Professional background: several years of experience in a governance-focused information security role, ideally as a Corporate Infor­mation Security Officer (CISO) in a KRITIS (critical infrastructure) environment.
• Industry knowledge: familiarity with the energy sector, ideally with experience in terminal operations or related infra­structure.
• Governance and audit focus: strong knowledge of ISMS frame­works and audit practices; comfortable operating at the inter­face between compliance, risk management, and business strategy.
• Business understanding: ability to balance infor­mation security requirements with business needs, demonstrating commercial awareness and sound judgement.
• Leadership experience: proven experience in leading teams and cross-functional working groups in a security or compliance context.
• Language skills: full business fluency in German (C2 level) is essential; professional experience in inter­national business environ­ments and proficiency in English are required.
