WearenowrecruitingforaCluster Meetings&Events SalesManagertojoinourvibrant andmulti-culturalteam.
Inthisexcitingrole,youwillbereportingtoourHeadofSalesandimplementingstrategiestoachieveourMeetings & Event sales & revenue targets. Responsible for generating new sales, networking,andnurturingourexistingclients toincreaserevenuesacrossthehotels.
What you'llbedoing As
Cluster M&E Sales Manager your key responsibilities will include the following:
OPERATIONAL
Perform day-to-day sales activity including lead generation, account management, face-to-facemeetings,contracting,cliententertainment,nationalsalestrips, managingkey eventsagents partnershipsandattendingtradeshowsandnetworking.
Target and contract new direct and agency business as required and in line with the hotel sales strategy.
Havefullproductknowledge ofthefacilitiesoffered.
Callingpotentialclients,arranging show-around,andconvertingenquiries insales.
Arrangingownsalesappointmentsandactioningprofessionalfollow-upaccordingly.
Establish key relationships with corporate clients and agencies to ensure maximum exposureandincrease revenue.
Ensurepro-activefollow-upofallbusiness,referrals, andpotentialsalesleads.
Attend,host,andcoordinate cliententertainingasrequired.
Proactivelydrive newMICEbusiness intothehotels.
Manageanddevelopexisting agencyandcorporate accounts.
Work closely with the Head of Sales, Cluster Sales Managers and Meeting & Events Team.
Drive and Support conversion of Meeting and Events enquiries, supporting the in-house Meeting and Events sales team.
Meet andexceeddefined salestargets.
Development and implementation of hotel sales plan also maximizing revenue and profit.
Attendandcontributetoweeklyandmonthlyhotelmeetingsasrequired.
Maintainconfidentialityofguestandassociate’sinformationandpertinent hoteldata.
ToidentifycreativeideastohelpimproveanddifferentiateImperialLondonHotels.
Whatwe’dlikefromyou
You will have proven experience gained in proactive sales, ideally from within the M&E Hospitality sector.
Astrongknowledge oftheM&EAgencylandscape andlargenetworkofyourown.
Experienceofsalesandnegotiationskills.
Commerciallyfocusedwithgoodknowledgeoflocaltrendsandcompetitoractivity.
Confidentandengagingmannerwiththeabilitytobuildrapport andtrustatalllevels both internally and externally.
Strongleadershipandmotivationalskills.
Youwillhaveexcellentorganisationskillswiththeability toprioritiseandadaptto changing priorities.
Acts as brand ambassador for Imperial London Hotels promoting a professional image at all times.
