We're looking for a analytical Quality Engineer to join our Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Department within our Winnipeg Head Office located at 140 otter street.
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for analytical and administrative support to operations by maintaining and improving Integrated Management Systems and leading investigations into Action Requests. You will also analyze data, manage reporting and training information, and design or enhance complex manufacturing systems and processes.

What You'll Do
- Ensuring Pollard Banknote's Integrated Management System (IMS) is up-to-date and effective
- Using the IMS to identify opportunities and monitor the effectiveness of in-process quality practices
- Conducting data analysis on production processes both independently and as directed by the Company
- Design and improve Integrated Management system
- Ensuring all Action Requests are investigated within a reasonable time limit, lead root cause analysis and verify corrective actions across the shifts, as necessary
- Conducting Internal Audits, delivering procedural training, and auditing new procedure rollouts across the shifts as necessary
- Varying project work and administrative tasks as required
Who You Are
- Someone with strong analytical skills with proven experience in data analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to adapt and reprioritize tasks effectively in response to changing daily work assignment
- Takes initiative to enhance business processes and pursue self-development.
- Skilled in writing/reviewing policies, delivering training, and presenting information clearly.
- Builds strong relationships, works well in teams, and influences outcomes without formal authority
What You'll Bring
- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in related engineering discipline. Combinations of equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Experience working in manufacturing, production or finishing operations
- Internal Auditor Qualification and/or Certification is Quality an asset
- Previous experience in statistics and/or Six Sigma is an asset
- Advanced Excel skills and other MS Office apps (Word, Outlook)
