Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in food and beverage service, particularly within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Candidates should possess strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and familiarity with POS systems such as toast. Prior experience in the food industry, retail math, or hospitality is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
• Take orders accurately using POS ensuring efficient transaction processing.
• Engage with guests professionally to provide excellent customer service and enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling duties including cashiering and basic math calculations for accurate billing.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy nights or events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote safety.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly manner.
• Experience in food handling, food safety standards, and beverage preparation within the food industry.
• Knowledge of fine dining service, nightclub operations, banquet experience, or catering is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and accurate order processing.
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
