Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. Must have a positive attitude and be willing to work as a team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using toast handheld tablets
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and promotions.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper food handling and safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and service areas.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with toast POS or system is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
