About Us:
Platinum Woodworking is a growing custom cabinetry and millwork shop serving Rhode Island and Massachusetts. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial cabinetry, closets, and custom woodworking. Our team takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Installer who will also assist in the shop when not on job sites. This hybrid role is ideal for a skilled professional who enjoys variety—spending time both in the field installing cabinetry and in the shop assisting with fabrication, assembly, and prep.

Responsibilities:

• Install custom cabinetry, closets, and millwork on-site with accuracy and professionalism
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions
• Handle tools, hardware, and materials safely and effectively
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure projects are completed to standard
• Assist in the shop with:
• Cutting, sanding, and assembling cabinets/parts
• Preparing jobs for delivery and installation
• Operating woodworking equipment (jointer, planer, table saw, etc.)
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Load/unload materials, deliver cabinets to sites when needed
• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain quality

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of cabinet installation experience (installation experience is a must)
• Must know how to safely and effectively use woodworking tools and machines (jointer, planer, table saw, router, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to solve problems and adapt on-site
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical work daily
• Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime depending on project needs.
