Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated COOK to support our dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where your culinary skills and passion for serving others will shine. The ideal candidate will bring experience in food handling, menu planning, and kitchen operations, ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious and delicious meals daily.

Duties

• Assist with food preparation and cooking to support the dietary team in creating appealing meals.
• Serve meals to residents with professionalism and friendliness, ensuring excellent food service experiences.
• Follow all food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Support menu planning efforts by helping select nutritious ingredients aligned with dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and sanitation tasks.
• Ensuring timely and quality service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure meal presentation meets high standards of quality and taste.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary assistance, food service, or kitchen environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience in menu planning or culinary activities is a plus.
• Ability to prepare meals efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with food preparation methods.
• Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Prior experience in fine dining, restaurant, or catering settings is advantageous.
