Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop skills in both industrial and commercial electrical work within a dynamic construction environment. Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with wiring, conduit installation, and electrical system setup on construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to install and troubleshoot electrical components
• Measure electrical parameters using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
• Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards
• Aid in the assembly of electrical panels and control systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Learn to identify potential hazards related to electrical systems and construction sites

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and low voltage systems
• Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is a plus
• Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is desirable
• Ability to use testing equipment such as ohmmeters effectively
• Construction site experience is advantageous
• Strong interest in developing skills related to high voltage systems and electrical installation
• Ability to work safely in a construction environment while following all safety guidelines
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Pay: $ $27.99 per hour
