Class A Truck Driver

POSITION SUMMARY

The Class A Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to Lamonica's Pizza Dough customers. This role involves the safe operation of company vehicles and material handling equipment. The position also requires physical labor, including lifting cases, bags, boxes, and pallets of varying weights from floor to chest level.

JOB DUTIES

· Operate trucks to deliver company products to designated destinations.

· Record delivery information on proof-of-delivery documents.

· Perform daily vehicle inspections in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations; report any deficiencies.

· Adhere to all company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

· Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.

· Operate or be willing to learn to operate a forklift and pallet jack.

· Load and unload products from trucks.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

· Occasional overnight travel may be required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: Two years related experience with Semi Trailer 48' and 53'.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of ELD or Onboard Computers.

Certifications A Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
