Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and promoting safe drinking practices.
• Restock bar supplies promptly to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service for events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold all health regulations related to food safety, food handling, and sanitation standards.
• Use your time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining exceptional customer service.
• Create a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests at nightclubs or special events, contributing to an energetic environment.
• Assist in training new team members on POS systems, serving techniques, and safety procedures when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect quickly with diverse guests.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly according to legal requirements; certifications such as TIPS or ServSafe are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality roles involving brewing or retail food industry knowledge is advantageous.

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
