Bar Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Server to join our team in providing exceptional service in a lively dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This role involves serving drinks and light food, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Candidates with background in fine dining, hospitality, or food safety are highly preferred. Duties

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival at the bar
• Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations when appropriate
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following proper recipes and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation or presentation as needed, especially during busy periods or special events
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service during events such as banquets or catering functions
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving

Experience

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Fine dining experience or banquet experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and dietary considerations is advantageous
• Barista experience or background in the food industry can be beneficial
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Experience with catering or banquet service is desirable
• Previous roles involving serving, food preparation, or dietary aide work will be considered valuable candidates
• All necessary certifications taken
