Project Development Manager (59756)

The Retail Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of opening new retail locations, from site evaluation and permitting to final launch. This individual will work cross-functionally with internal teams, landlords, city officials, contractors, and licensing agencies to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient store openings.

• Lead and manage end-to-end development projects for new retail locations.
• Coordinate site selection processes and support lease negotiations.
• Obtain all required permits, licenses, and approvals in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Work with city and county officials to ensure smooth permit processes.
• Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Collaborate with construction teams, vendors, and design partners to meet deadlines and brand standards.
• Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones to senior leadership.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance for each location prior to opening.
• Manage relationships with external consultants, engineers, and legal teams as needed.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline future developments.

• 3–5 years of project management experience in retail development, construction, or permitting.
• Strong knowledge of licensing and permitting processes, especially in Texas.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus but not required.
