Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following all food safety protocols.
• Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, practicing responsible serving in compliance with alcohol regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders during busy service periods like banquets or nightclub events.
• Handle cashing out procedures accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Assist in setting up catering events or banquet functions by preparing drinks or serving guests as needed.
• Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies; notify management when stock needs replenishing.
• Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling, alcohol service, and general cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Contribute to creating a lively atmosphere at nightclubs or special events by engaging guests and supporting team efforts.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach that fosters guest satisfaction.
• Experience in food handling, beverage preparation, brewing knowledge, or catering services is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices is required.
• Prior retail math experience can be beneficial for managing sales transactions accurately.
