Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Build, interpret, quantify, visualize, and communicate the impact of data and other business intelligence into meaningful reporting and analysis for advertisers. Work with large, disparate datasets and other business intelligence sources to conduct ad hoc "back of the envelope" analyses and report on customer insights, and advertiser or brand specific performance. Leverage knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and other mainstream reporting and business intelligence tools to aid in the design and development of complex data pipelines to process large datasets. Support the development of executive level presentations and perspectives. Develop and automate data pipelines, flows, and alerts using AirFlow DAGs for timely scheduling, QA alerts, and analysis in Google Cloud Platform. Support cross-functional teams to understand evolving use cases, trends, and metrics across Walmart Connect (WMC) and implement data-driven solutions to increase actionability. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience creating, managing, and manipulating databases to create data pipelines using SQL on Cloud Servers. Experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau. Experience using Tableau Prep for data preparation, data manipulation, and building data flows. Experience creating statistical models to build high performance models in Python and using Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and SciPy. Experience using python notebooks. Experience extracting insights from large volumes of data to provide actionable insights using Microsoft (MS) Excel or Google Sheets. Experience automating tasks and schedules on different platforms to remove redundancies and manual dependencies, using Tableau or BigQuery. Experience with data quality and data analysis alerts using scheduling tools. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $109,491/year to $186,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
