ACEMCO offers the following benefits to our second shift quality auditor:
Pay: $18 to $24 an hour. Pay is dependent on experience and skillset. Amount is not inclusive of total compensation package.

Purpose of the job
ACEMCO has a reputation for delivering high-quality, defect-free products engineered to our client's specifications, delivered on time, in the proper quantities, and at competitive prices. The person in the quality auditor role will be responsible for monitoring and measuring products on the manufacturing floor and escalating nonconforming product issues according to ACEMCO Quality Standards. Performs periodic quality checks necessary, records information, and performs general utility work to meet work schedule. Observes and asks workers questions pertaining to job functions to ensure compliance with the IATF-16949 Quality System.
What can you expect as a second shift quality auditor on a typical shift at ACEMCO?
- Responsible for randomly review each step of the inspection process with operators to assure that correct procedures are understood and followed.
- Support ACEMCO's quality process when internal and external quality failures result in product being contained.
- Reads processing information such as: work orders, inspection instruction sheets and data collection sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
- Observe other employees using equipment to verify equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.
- Responsible for performing a complete inspection cycle on production parts.
- Maintain Quality Work Instruction, Forms & Procedures.
- Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor/manager.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma
- Six month's experience in quality. IATF-16949 Quality System preferred
- One year of manufacturing experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required and supplied. Eye protection (safety glasses) is required and supplied. You are required to purchase and wear steel toe safety shoes or boots.

Shift Hours:
2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Monday - Friday, with the occasional overtime on Saturday and Sunday.
