Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Driver to join our dynamic team In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the secure loading, transportation, and unloading of items. Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or other equipment as needed.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption.
• Deliver packages and goods directly to customers' locations with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately.
• Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, moving items within the facility, and maintaining organized storage areas.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during routes.
• Support loading docks by operating forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary for heavy lifting or moving large items.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all company policies regarding safety and conduct.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining proper safety procedures; familiarity with heavy lifting techniques is a plus.
• Warehouse experience including moving items, using pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and managing inventory is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and route planning.
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently across multiple stops.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type; clean driving record required.
