Construction Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Duties

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Oversee project scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, implementing cost-control measures as necessary.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
• Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid and ProCore for project tracking and reporting.
• Prepare progress reports for upper management detailing project status, challenges, and milestones achieved.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and contract management.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints; ability to interpret technical documents effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and communication.
• Experience in budgeting for construction projects is preferred.
• Commercial projects; remodeling, TI experiences (Supermarket, Grocery Stores, Restaurant)

Pay: $96, $120,000.00 per year
