Tired of being stuck maintaining legacy systems?
How about owning the design and development of
brand-new robotic platforms
from the ground up?
A fast-growing robotics company building next-generation autonomous systems is looking for a Systems Engineer who wants to sit right at the intersection of
embedded control, hardware integration, connectivity, and PCB-level design
.
This team creates advanced robotic devices that sense, interact with, and move through the physical world with extraordinary precision. Their technology powers automation across industrial, environmental, and mission-critical field robotics applications.
If you want to help build the brains, nerves, and hardware interfaces for breakthrough robotic systems.
As a
Embedded Systems Engineer
, you'll drive the end-to-end development of the hardware and firmware that bring complex robotic platforms to life. You'll work across electronics, embedded software, connectivity, and system architecture. You will designing clean, reliable control firmware, developing custom PCBs, and integrating sensors, actuators, compute modules, and communication interfaces into cohesive, high-performance robotic systems.
You'll collaborate directly with mechanical, controls, and software teams to build robots that are fast, responsive, and robust. From architecting system-level communication pipelines, to writing real-time control firmware, to bringing up new boards and debugging hardware in the lab.
This role is perfect for someone who loves solving multidomain engineering challenges, thrives in hands-on hardware environments, and wants to work on real robots,
Your background:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Strong background in
embedded systems
, including C/C++, RTOS, and real-time control firmware.
• Proven experience
integrating hardware
(sensors, actuators, MCUs/MPUs, communication buses, and power electronics.)
• Hands-on experience with
PCB design
, schematic capture, and board bring-up.
• Solid understanding of
robotic system components
: perception hardware, motor drivers, controllers, power systems, or motion subsystems.
• Familiarity with
connectivity protocols
such as Ethernet, CAN, UART, SPI, I²C, BLE/Wi-Fi, or custom links.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across hardware, mechanical, and software engineering teams.
(Nice to have)
Experience with robotics frameworks, control theory, or embedded Linux.
