Java Spring Developer

We are seeking
experienced Java Spring Developers
to join a high-visibility engineering effort focused on Spring upgrade and modernization activities. This position is
fully remote
and requires an
active DoD Secret clearance
. Developers will support enhancements, refactoring, and upgrade work across both legacy and modern Java components within a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Spring upgrade initiatives across legacy and modern components within the PRISM environment.
• Develop, enhance, refactor, and troubleshoot Java applications using the Spring Framework.
• Work extensively with Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA, and Spring Security.
• Support legacy components including JSP, scriptlets, and native JavaScript.
• Write, tune, and optimize
  complex SQL queries
  against MSSQL databases.
• Work with JavaScript, jQuery, and other scripting languages as needed.
• Assist with deployments and configurations across application and web servers.
• Follow SDLC best practices and maintain clean, well-structured documentation.
• Collaborate in an Agile/DevOps environment alongside technical and functional stakeholders.
• Use Git or other version control systems for source control and code collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).
• Strong proficiency in
  Java
  and the
  Spring Framework
  .
• Experience with:
• Spring MVC
• Spring Data & JPA
• Spring Security
• Experience supporting
  legacy Java
  (JSP, scriptlets, native JavaScript).
• Knowledge of
  JavaScript
  ,
  jQuery
  , and other scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with
  MSSQL
  databases.
• Proven ability to write and optimize
  complex SQL queries
  .
• Experience working with
  application/web servers
  .
• Proficiency in
  Git
  or other version control systems.
• Experience working within
  Agile/DevOps
  processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of the
  Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  .
