Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Manager, located in West Haven, CT. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility equipment, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure optimal functioning of machinery to meet production goals. Other responsibilities include managing and supervising maintenance staff, monitoring safety protocols, and coordinating with other departments to address facility needs. The individual in this role will also ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills with experience leading and managing a maintenance team
• Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices
• Proficiency in Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair processes
• Ability to identify and resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Working knowledge of safety guidelines and regulatory compliance in facility operations
• Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required; advanced training or certifications in maintenance or related fields are preferred

• CPMM – Certified Plant Maintenance Manager
• EPA 608 Refrigeration Certification
• HVAC Certification
• NEC Electrical Certification
• Chemical Safety Certification
• Forklift Trainer/Operator Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid
