About the Role:
The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support to the HR team and partners with managers and HR specialty areas (Payroll, Compensation/Benefits, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development, and People Services) to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. This role is key in maintaining a positive employee experience and supporting organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and administer HR policies and programs to ensure compliance and positive employee experience.
  • Partner across HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, talent management, engagement initiatives, employee relations, investigations, and offboarding.
  • Administer HR programs and processes; identify gaps and assist in developing improvements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including job descriptions and talent development documentation.
  • Analyze HR reports to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Facilitate performance evaluation programs and update as needed.
  • Support compliance reporting (EEO-1, OSHA logs, affirmative action programs).
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including sourcing, job postings, scheduling, and interviewing.
  • Recommend new processes and policies to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Drive change management initiatives and foster positive employee-management relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Provide HR consultation on staffing, organizational effectiveness, training, compensation, benefits, and conflict resolution.
  • Support payroll processing under the direction of the Payroll Manager.
  • Participate in special HR projects such as Lunch & Learns, ISO document management, audits, and other administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Languages: English required; bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Strong confidentiality and discretion.
  • Conflict resolution and disciplinary process expertise.
  • Ability to influence change and build relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP WorkforceNow preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Planning & organizing, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Persuading & influencing with leadership qualities to drive change.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently while delivering results.

Pay range and compensation package:
3–5 years of HR experience in a Generalist capacity. Knowledge of employment lifecycle administration, employment law, recruitment, and payroll.
