Accounting Manager

MUST RESIDE IN NASHVILLE OR FORT LAUDERDALE AREAS

Our team is working with a rapidly growing healthcare company looking to bring on a Manager of Accounting. You will be owning the full accounting function, managing a team and working directly with executive leadership. This role has strong growth trajectory and a great opportunity to build and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring the accuracy and
• timeliness of financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership, to support strategic business initiatives.
• Drive continuous process improvements, including documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and enhancing workflow efficiencies.
• Maintain adaptability in a fast-paced environment, navigating organizational growth and change effectively.

Requirements:

• CPA certification
• 6+ years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Industry experience in private equity-backed healthcare.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with expertise in financial close processes,
• reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Ability to balance both strategic oversight and hands-on accounting
