Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Salesforce Developer
with deep experience in
Salesforce Field Service (SFS / FSL / FSM)
to design, build, and optimize scalable solutions across our field operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Salesforce development and configuration, strong understanding of field service business processes, and the ability to translate operational requirements into practical technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions with a primary focus on
Salesforce Field Service (FSM/SFS)
modules. - Customize and configure
Service Appointments, Work Orders, Work Types, Scheduling Policies, Service Resources, Skills, and Territories
. - Develop Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Apex classes/triggers, Flows, and integrations to extend FSM functionalities.
- Optimize dispatcher workflows, mobile field-technician experiences, and overall service lifecycle processes.
- Collaborate with business users, service teams, and product owners to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and platform events.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, code quality standards, and security protocols.
- Perform unit testing, support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and deploy solutions using CI/CD tools.
- Maintain documentation for system design, configurations, and development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–7+ years of Salesforce development experience
, including Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and integrations. - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSM/SFS)
. - Strong understanding of FSM data model and components:
- Work Orders & Work Order Line Items
- Service Appointments
- Scheduling & Optimization
- Mobile Technician App
- Service Resources & Skills
- Service Territories & Operating Hours
- Experience with Salesforce configuration: Process Builder/Flows, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, etc.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems.
- Familiarity with Git-based source control (GitHub/Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Copado, AutoRABIT, Gearset).
