Front Desk Representative/Night Auditor

Sleep Inn & Suites – Ankeny is looking for a highly responsible, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. As the overnight face of the hotel, you will ensure guest satisfaction, operational accuracy, and the smooth running of all night-shift duties.

• Answer all incoming calls within the first 2 rings, providing friendly and professional assistance.
• Stay alert and attentive throughout the entire shift—absolutely no sleeping during work hours.
• Assist guests with late check-ins, early check-outs, inquiries, and service needs.
• Accurately post daily revenues and complete the nightly audit process.
• Close the night batch and verify that every transaction balances correctly, ensuring every penny is accounted for.
• Follow established procedures to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
• Restock and organize the hotel marketplace to maintain availability and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front office, lobby, and breakfast area during the night shift.
• Prepare and set up breakfast items to Sleep Inn brand standards by 5:30 AM.
• Support hotel security by monitoring property activity and reporting any concerns or issues.
• Must be available to work overnight shifts and be willing to work holidays when scheduled.
