Administrative Assistant (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-level administrative support within a dynamic security-focused team environment. The successful candidate will serve as a critical liaison between leadership, team members, and external partners, ensuring smooth operations across all administrative functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendaring for executive leadership with extensive customer-facing commitments
- Coordinate comprehensive travel arrangements and process business expenses accurately and efficiently
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and team activities across multiple stakeholders
- Serve as primary point of contact for department inquiries and requests
- Maintain team workspace coordination and facility operations
- Process procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, and reference materials
- Manage vendor relationships and departmental financial operations
- Handle personnel operations support as needed
- Provide general office support and complete special projects as assigned
- Respond to customer issues and inquiries with professionalism and urgency
- Support team requests in a timely manner while adapting to changing priorities
Requirements
- Complex calendar management and scheduling coordination
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities, particularly for external customer interactions
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Travel coordination and expense management expertise
- Budget tracking and financial operations support
- Proficiency with procurement processes and vendor management
- Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Problem-solving capabilities and proactive approach to challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands
- Proven experience managing complex calendars for senior leadership
- Background in customer service roles with external stakeholder interaction
- Demonstrated experience coordinating travel arrangements and processing expenses
- Experience supporting executive-level management in administrative capacity
Additional Details
- Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid: 4 days/week Onsite)
- Duration: 7 months
- Pay Range*: $ $31 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
