We're looking for a Director of Cloud Solution Architecture to lead our global architecture practice across cloud, data, security and infrastructure. This role combines strategic leadership, client advisory, and technical excellence, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions for our clients. You will partner with executive leadership, sales, delivery, and engineering teams to shape technical vision, establish architectural standards, and act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.

What you'll do

Strategy & Vision

• Define and evolve cloud and data architecture principles, reference models, and roadmaps.

• Shape offerings and go-to-market strategies in partnership with executive leadership.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, serverless, streaming, observability).

Practice Leadership & Governance

• Build and scale a global team of solution and domain and solution architects.

• Establish architecture guardrails, reusable patterns, and best practices.

• Drive architectural governance, security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Partner with sales and business development to design solutions, respond to RFPs, and lead client workshops.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client executives and technical teams.

• Influence win rates through compelling solutioning and thought leadership.

Delivery Oversight & Technical Quality

• Ensure solutions are implemented with fidelity to architectural designs.

• Provide oversight on high-complexity or high-risk programs.

• Guide cross-functional teams in cloud engineering, SRE/DevOps, data platforms, and security.

Talent Development & Culture

• Mentor and grow senior technical leaders and architects.

• Drive knowledge sharing, communities of practice, and reusable accelerators.

• Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.

What you bring

• 12+ years in engineering, including 6+ years in cloud/solution architecture.

• Proven leadership in building and scaling architecture practices.

• Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud.

• Strong background in data infrastructure (Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka/Confluent, dbt, Redshift).

• Proficiency with Kubernetes, microservices, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).

• Familiarity with security, compliance, identity, cost optimization, resilience, and observability (Datadog, OpenTelemetry).

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging both engineers and C-suite.

• Willingness to travel for client engagements as required.

Nice to have

• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure/GCP Architect.

• Experience in multiple industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).

• Track record of delivering complex customer engagements and driving measurable outcomes.

• Background in AI/ML, MLOps, or platform engineering a plus.
