Job Summary:

The Project Manager - HVAC Mechanical Contractor is responsible for overseeing large-scale commercial and industrial HVAC projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. The Senior PM will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Financial Management
• Monitor project financials, including cost control, billing, and change orders.
• Ensure accurate monthly progress billing and timely collection of receivables.
• Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and provide status updates.
• Team Leadership
• Mentor Project Managers and Engineers; provide guidance on technical and operational challenges.
• Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to company standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Oversee commissioning, punch lists, and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing HVAC projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including air and water systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; AutoCAD and project management software experience preferred.
