Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various distances, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage freight effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload freight as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Manage cargo securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations and freight handling techniques.
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in commercial driving environments.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
