As a Sr Process Safety Management Engineer here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will develop and optimize chemical processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality production. Your expertise will drive efficiency, cost savings, and regulatory adherence. You will report directly to our Sr ISC Operations Manager, and you'll work out of our Geismar, Louisiana location, on site.
In this role, you will impact our organization by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimizing risks, and fostering a culture of safety within the team. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our operations as a responsible and sustainable organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement comprehensive process safety management systems that align with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and training on process safety matters.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or 10+ years' experience relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing plant in lieu of bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of experience in process safety management or related roles
• Experience with all elements of process safety management
• Process engineering experience in the Oil, Gas, or Chemical industry
• In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits, and familiarity with safety management systems
WE VALUE
• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience in leading process hazard analysis studies
• Professional Engineering license (PE)
• Experience with Relief and Blowdown calculations
• Experience in leading process safety initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
