Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery of drinks and food service.
• Assist with serving food at events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and address any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume periods effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Uphold all food safety standards and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
• Support the setup and breakdown of bar areas for special events or nightclubs, including inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to guest needs and offering personalized recommendations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings; retail math skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy hours.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory counts.
• Experience in food handling, catering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting adds value to your skill set.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
