Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed.
• Support banquet and catering events by providing timely dishwashing and cleanup services.
• Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and equipment sanitation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of food service operations during busy periods.
• Follow all food handling safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards across the establishment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and cleaning standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as trays or boxes of dishes.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
