NOVEMBER 1ST- JANUARY 1ST ARE BLOCKED OFF FOR TIME OFF REQUESTS

*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS WEEK*

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
• Directs customers by escorting them to our products.
• Unpacking and placing new merchandise on the sales floor
• Advises customers by providing information on products and ongoing sales.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing cash, gift cards and credit cards.
• Uses best judgment to solve customer problems
• Maintains scheduling commitments
• Provides recommendations according to customer needs or preferences
• Operates cash register and handles cash payments and credit card processing
• Handles refunds, exchanges and returns
• Alerts the management of potential security issues
• Keeps Track of Inventory
• Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Open Availability for weekends is a MUST

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating a cash register
• Experience operating point-of-sale (POS) transactions
• Prior Western Product Knowledge
• Previous Retail Experience
• Spanish is not required but is preferred
