Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care for pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and techniques to promote independence.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient care principles, particularly in occupational health settings.
• Proficiency in anatomy and physiology to effectively assist in therapy sessions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently.

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
