Job Summary:
We are seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our growing logistics operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse stock, verifying order details, and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting techniques, is essential. You will be an integral part of our warehouse team, contributing to the overall success of our distribution network. Responsibilities:
  • Select correct items from inventory based on order tickets.
  • Verify product information and quantities.
  • Package items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Operate manual warehouse equipment safely.
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including wearing required PPE and employing safe Lifting methods.
  • Keep the work area tidy and organized.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret order documents.
  • Must be capable of Lifting up to 45 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to remain active and on your feet for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes is advantageous.
