Responsibilities:
- Receive pick lists or scan orders to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product identification and quantity against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, organizing stock and supplies.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall team success.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and using PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
