Job Summary:
We are searching for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Portland, Oregon. This leadership role requires a proactive individual responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring efficient workflow. You will play a critical part in maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and accuracy within our logistics environment. Your leadership will drive team performance and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, are conducted efficiently.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and company policies, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate and ensure safe use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other machinery.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, Safety protocols, and the proper use of PPE.
  • Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Responsible for managing team's adherence to Lifting guidelines and ergonomic best practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and requirements for warehouse environments.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Experience with material handling equipment and best practices.
